Travoline observes a sudden spike in its website traffic by around 300% and increase in the hotel bookings, whilst the car rental reservations remains same as usual. Most of the customers have booked their hotels for the month of November, December and the 1st week of January 2017.
The travel industry trends has seen significant ups and downs in the past. To instate, the customers preferences has been changing rapidly in terms of their hotel room preferences, amenities, price, service, hotel pick-up and drop facilities, food and especially the hotel location. So it becomes utmost important that these options are set to be shown clearly for the customer to choose their preference for giving them a satisfying experience online while they book their itinerary online. Also it very important, the information which is shown in the website is accurate, so the customers are not disappointed while they visit the hotel.
In real, Travoline believes the word of mouth is more powerful for getting more customers. We do get lot of requests for bookings as a referral from the existing customers, as we do provide the best deal as well as easy to check booking status, meanwhile allowing to customer to cancel the booking even at last minute, making the website more user friendly.
Provided the above facts, in the past few weeks, the website has seen significant increase in the website traffic as well the incoming enquiries regarding the hotel reservations and vacation packages. Soon there are plans to introduce customer loyalty programs and referral bonus to the customers in a way to show gratitude to the customers.
In the previous years as well as this year from month of May till August, we faced a slowdown in the hotel bookings, however there is a rise that is noticed in the month of September for the forthcoming months. So we have reorganized our marketing campaigns to reach out the potential customers during these seasons. We are focusing to target the leisure travelers planning their vacation for the month of December and January, while for the business travelers it would be the regular travel, industrial training and events visitors. Says Nishanthi, Managing Director of Travoline.
It’s always recommended to book your hotels and car rentals earlier, to ensure availability and get greater discounts.
