The Sales, Learning and Development conference is back for 2016, the only L&D event specifically for HR and training managers in the sales industry is set to once again host a line-up of unmissable guest speakers at a price too good to miss.
The 2016 conference will take place on October 6th at the popular conference venue Ricoh Arena, Coventry, alongside the National Sales Exhibition, presented by global events company Lincoln West.
In the modern marketplace ‘the way’ companies sell is under as much scrutiny as the amount they sell. It’s vital that sales teams not only keep up with the changing markets but also know, understand and implement the latest successful strategies. This one day event is the perfect opportunity for sales team leaders to gather the latest and most effective ways to develop the sales force whilst minimising the time out of the office for attendees.
The Sales, Learning and Development conference is an exclusive event targeted at and tailored for heads of sales teams to share best practice with those developing and training the sales function as well as providing an opportunity for discussion and networking between HR and training managers.
This year’s event is set to host a number of high-profile names from the industry including; Learning and development manager of Virgin Media, James Woodward, former Learning and Development Manager at E.On, Metra Rowe, VP and Global Head of Sales at Wipro, Robert Racine and former CBI Director and Minister for Trade & Investment, Lord Digby Jones who will speak on the importance of sales and marketing to both businesses and the British economy. Proceedings will be hosted by Ben Turner of the Association of Professional Sales; nowhere else will you hear all of these great speakers in one place with brand new content solely for this industry.
Attendees to the event will hear these leading industry figures speak on a number of topics directly related to the learning and development needs of sales teams. Delegates at the day-long conference will:
- Discover how world class organisations develop their sales team
- Share best practices with fellow L&D professionals
- View case studies from successful sales learning interventions
In addition to access to the conference, price of admission also includes: lunch & refreshments, free car parking, Wi-Fi access, networking opportunities and admission to the National Sales Exhibition which takes inside the same venue as SLD, the Ricoh Arena.
Starting at 9:30, this is the only conference dedicated to those who work in learning and development for sales, making it a must have date on the calendar for HR and training managers in this field.
