Milton Keynes, Bucks (prnob) June 15, 2015 - With a long and a rich history of celebrating food and drink, the county of Buckinghamshire has more than its fair share of the choicest eateries, wineries, and breweries in all of the UK. This year, like many of the previous ones, the county has decided to honour the food and drink establishments with the Buckinghamshire Food and Drink Awards.
The recipients of this coveted and prestigious award are selected by the residents of the county. 2015 saw the entry of many of the best establishments of the county, but in the Wine Merchant of the Year category, Milton Keynes resident independent wine merchant Wineman.co.uk has managed to win in this category of the much sought after award.
While talking about this grand success, the spokesperson adds, "People love to explore wine, but it is rare to have detailed information and opinions located all in one place. We hand-pick the best wines at every price point, to offer quality and value from the everyday to the extraordinary. As the online store with no shop, we beat lots of established wine merchants with physical shops. Hope, we have achieved this only because of our quality, dedication and effort"
Started in 1996 by Kevin O'Rourke, Wineman.co.uk has been providing residents of the city and of the country with restaurant quality wine right at their doorstep. With a minimum order of just one bottle, the company has become a hit among connoisseurs and enthusiasts of fine wine.
Apart from single bottles of wine, the company also supplies mixed cases with different special offers, depending on the wine. Customers can choose from six or twelve bottle cases.
"Since 1996, I have been selling wine in Milton Keynes and have had an ecommerce website dedicated to wine since 2003. With years of experience in the hospitality and wine industry, I have an in depth knowledge about wine, and wanting to share this passion of mine with millions of UK residents, I started this website in the quest to deliver restaurant quality wine to people looking to enjoy a fine wine delivered to them right at their doorstep" says Kevin.
The passion that Kevin talks about made him one of the finalists in the Buckinghamshire Food and Drink Awards which he eventually won. The service provided by his company is one of its kinds that the residents of the county have embraced and hold close to. The perseverance and dedication shown by him and his company is the reason why the people of Buckinghamshire County have voted for him and have successfully made him a winner of the prominent award.
