The United States Power Squadrons (USPS) is now premiering the new “MAN OVERBOARD” streaming media video in its Digital Media Library (DML).
Raleigh, NC, 9 December 2016 – The United States Power Squadrons® (USPS) announces the debut of its streaming media video focused on man overboard in its Digital Media Library (DML) online at www.uspsdml.org and as a free mobile app.
The new “Man Overboard”video shows viewers how to respond when a person falls overboard by returning their boats to the person in the water within ten feet in less than a minute.
Viewers will also learn that a successful retrieval begins with a passenger and crew briefing of their responsibilities before leaving the dock.
Also featured are special tips such as how to bring the person back on board without further injury to the person.
Along with the new video, the USPS DML is adding a related boater education slideshow on Man Overboard as well as several new safe boating images.
The USPS DML is also distributing its “Man Overboard” video through popular social media including Facebook and YouTube. All digital media in the library is offered at no charge.
