The United States Power Squadrons (USPS) is now premiering the new “ANCHORING A BOAT” streaming media video in its Digital Media Library (DML).
Raleigh, NC, 4 December 2016 – The United States Power Squadrons® (USPS) announces the debut of its streaming media video focused on anchoring a boat in its Digital Media Library (DML) online at www.uspsdml.org and as a free mobile app.
The new “Anchoring a Boat” video shows viewers how to select the best anchors, chains, and rodes for their boats and the waters where they will be anchoring their boats.
Viewers will also learn how to set their anchors in various conditions taking into account wind and current, other boats, and hazards in their environment, and how to safely stay at anchor.
Also featured are special tips such as how to safely unset anchors and smoothly depart from points of anchorage.
Along with the new video, the USPS DML is adding a related boater education slideshow on Anchoring as well as several new safe boating images.
The USPS DML is also distributing its “Anchoring a Boat” video through popular social media including Facebook and YouTube. All digital media in the library is offered at no charge.
