USA, January 8, 2015 – MICRODIA Semiconductor Ltd. (MICRODIA), a world leader in flash memory technologies, revealed its mobile multi-tasking WifyStation Series. The series empowers users to make the most of their time. It is an on-the-go computer, server, router, power bank, cloud storage, data storage, gallery, media library and entertainment centre. And its size means it can fit into a pocket or purse.
Using Wi-Fi connectivity or the accompanying USB cable, the WifyStation is compatible with smartphones and mobile devices. The WifyStation supports Microsoft Office™ formats and Adobe Acrobat™ PDF files. As a router, it connects to a LAN or provides a secure Wi-Fi network. The WifyStation is also able to bridge iOS™ devices to other Wi-Fi Access Points.
Up to 6 users can access the device together, thus transforming it into a portable wireless media server that can stream videos and music, and display photos. As a personal cloud storage device, the WifyStation supports up to 2TB of data storage. Memory can be extended via SD and CF cards, and USB flash drives. It also stores power making this a power bank for smartphones and mobile devices.
