Chemequal is an online chemical portal where potential buyers can look for their required chemicals marketed under different trade names. It serves as a big online database of chemical suppliers, manufacturers, exporters available under one roof for easy comparison. It breaks commodity brand monopoly, allowing buyers to choose their own variant from a list of products under a similar generic type.
Features & Benefits summarized:
· Getting easy alternatives for a searched item
· Compare all the products under one head
· Sellers can enlist their products online and get particular enquiries from worldwide purchasers
· No commodity fetishism, or brand monopoly
Few of the products summarized are as follows:
Polyacrylamide is used to flocculate solids in a fluid. This procedure applies to water treatment, and procedures like paper making and screen printing.
· Flocculation: PAM with their adhering capacity act as flocculants. Polymers regularly carry electrostatic charges that take into account surface molecule balance bringing about flocculation.
· Adsorption: PAM adheres to molecule surfaces with reversible covalent bonds between molecule surfaces permitting them to increase in size and mass.
· Friction Reduction: PAM effectively diminishes friction in tunnels. Friction loss is minimized by 50 - 80% with a little addition of the product.
· Thickening Agent: PAM is used to thicken an assortment of mud in neutral and acidic conditions.
Anionic PAM: Broadly used for industrial and municipal waste water treatment. for various industries of coal washing, mineral preparing, metallurgy, iron and steel industry, electronics. Also functions as a part of oil industry to improve oil recuperation. Anionic PAM is also utilized as paper and pulp additives.
Cationic PAM: Finds most functions for its high drying out rate. It is used for waste water treatment in liquor manufacturing plants, sugar industrial facilities, food and beverage industries, tanneries, colouring and similar fields. It is also used as paper additives.
Non-ionic PAM: Non-ionic PAM finds its most application in acidic soiling. Used for textile and pulp industry, paper chemicals, water shutoff specialists, etc. Because of its non-ionic group, pH has little or no influence on N-PAM.
Descaling Chemical like Sulfamic Acid Descaler is an excellent grade descaling agent for various industrial and domestic equipments. It finds use in fertilizer industry, dairy, boilers, brewery, sugar indusries and much more. It has excellent descaling properties and does not release toxic fumes unlike other acid descalers. It is formulated to protect mellow steel, stainless steel, copper and metal against corrosive attacks.
Sulfamic Acid Descaler is a progressed scale treatment containing an additional film forming inhibitor that attempts to ensure gentle steel, stainless steel, copper and metal against corrosive assaults. The inhibitor properties additionally serve as a proficient penetrant and dispersant to upgrade the adequacy of the acid. This can be used to break up lime scales (calcium carbonate) and is a perfect for the treatment for boilers, calorifiers and heat exchangers.
Citric Acid is a weak organic acid serving as a descaling agent. It is mostly used to remove lime scales from boilers. Citric Acid Descaler works efficiently as a descaling and chelating agent.
Rodine Acid Inhibitor incorporates items that repress the erosion of metals against acids like Hydrochloric acid, Hydrofluoric acid, Sulphuric acid, Phosphoric acid, Sulphamic acid, and other natural or blend of acids.
Acid corrosion is an electrochemical process coordinated by the presence of moisture, acidic contamination of the metal surfaces and oxygen. This requires the prerequisites of acid inhibitors to help in preventing the corrosive assault on the base metal. The sort and concentration of the inhibitor used is by and large determined by the sort and properties of the metal to be protected and the conditions under which the metal is to be dealt with.
Rodine Acid Inhibitor helps in diminishing iron development alongside supporting the effects of over-pickling. These inhibitors account for a better appearance of the metal. This range of inhibitors incorporates items that have been figured to be utilized as a part of most corrosive cleaning operations without upsetting the efficiency.
Glycol has functioned as an effective heat transfer fluid in the food industry. Alternatives fail as heat transfer fluids because of the following reasons:
· Water is ineffective for freezing applications since it freezes at zero degree Centrigrade
· Uninhibited Glycol gets oxidized in presence of air
· Alcohol is flammable and volatile
· Defrosting chemicals are energy consuming
Inhibited Ethylene Glycol benefits the same with the following characteristics:
· Odourless and colourless with low oral toxicity
· Good heat transferring ability with inhibitors reducing corrosion
· Non inflammable
Drinking Water Chemicals consider a wide range of products that prevent water contamination and rendering it okay to drink. These chemicals mosly incorporate Reverse Osmosis Chemicals like RO Film Cleaners, RO Antiscalant, Jar Cleaning Chemicals, Mineral Additives, and so forth.
Drinking water serves as the most vital component for the sustenance of life. Regular tap water has found to contain more than 2000 unique sorts of harmful chemicals. This makes water treatment vital. The safest approach to drink conventional tap water is to utilize water purification system.
Most water is cleaned for human utilization (drinking water) but they require a better treatment such as Reverse Osmosis. Quality principles of drinking water are regularly set by governments or globally.
RO treatment plants are contaminated by pollutants, and organic matter decreasing overall performance.
Requiring the need for Reverse Osmosis Chemicals such as:
· RO Antiscalant preventing scaling on the membranes
· Membrane Cleaner helps remove contaminants
· Membrane Biocide effective sanitizes the membrane and prevents recontamination
· Membrane Preservative keeping up the efficiency of the membrane
Coolant or heat transfer fluids prevent devices from overheating by scattering the heat energy generated. General properties of coolant include high heat transferring capacity, low viscosity, chemically inert in nature. Coolant Corrosion Inhibitor or oxygen scavenger for coolant systems remove oxygen from the coolant that otherwise oxidize and damage the flowing pipelines. Coolant additives as such stabilize the pH, and prevent corrosion of metals.
The dissolved materials in the coolant adhere to the pipe surfaces and form scales which hinder the general flow and heat transferring capacity of the coolant.
Benefits of Coolant Corrosion Inhibitor:
· Anti corrosion
· Prevent scaling
· Increases system life
· Saves power
Brewery Chemicals can be considered as the whole set of chemicals that aid in cleaning and effective sanitation of distilleries, breweries, microbreweries, etc. These chemicals doesn't impact the kind and flavour of the beer. Amidst making of beer, there are inclinations of scaling and soiling within the brewkettles, fermentation vessels, crush/lautertuns, heat exchangers, fillers, barrels, sections, and saccharification tanks.
These cause a reduction in the ability to trade heat and may achieve undesired flavors, hardware failures, diseases and unbalanced downtime. These circumstances incite the necessity for Brewery Chemicals which include cleaners, sanitizers, etc. Cleaning and sanitation act as a fundamental part of a distillery and should be considered about at every period of the fermenting procedure. Sanitation helps in decreasing the surface masses of microorganisms after cleaning and inhibits microbial advancement on the distillery gear.
