Nominations Now Open for Northern Cook County Free Roof Giveaway

Peterson Roofing's No Roof Left Behind free roof give away will provide two (2) roofs to local residents.

Mount Prospect, IL, March 14, 2015 -- Peterson Roofing today announced it is now accepting nominations for its No Roof Left Behind Campaign. This nationwide program provides free roofs to local community members in need.

Nominations are being accepted at www.petersonroofinginc.com now through May 1. The process is simple. Anyone can participate and nominate a friend, neighbor or family member in need of a new roof. From the submissions four finalists will be chosen for the final online public voting campaign.

The four finalists’ stories and photos will be displayed on Peterson Roofing’s website. From May 6 – June 21 the public will able to vote for the finalist they feel is most deserving. The winner will be revealed online on June 22. Then, Peterson Roofing will begin accepting nominations for their second campaign of 2015 on June 23.

Nominees must own the home they are living in and be a resident of Northern Cook County. Also, the free roof recipient must be current on his/her mortgage payments. Nominees will be accepted until May 1. A team of local volunteers will review all the nominees and four will be selected as finalists.

Peterson Roofing joined the No Roof Left Behind initiative as a way to give back to the community that has brought them success for more than 37 years. This year, they will be running two campaigns which will see two local families receive free roofs. Vice President, Jim Peterson, Jr. had this to say about the program, “We are proud to be a part of No Roof Left Behind. The direct positive impact this initiative has on members of the community is something that can’t be described. We have donated three roofs to date and each time it is amazing to see the community come together to support one another. This is why we decided to donate two additional roofs in 2015.”

Other local businesses are invited to participate as sponsors or volunteers. “No Roof Left Behind is a great way to rally the community together,” said Jim Peterson, Jr. “There is something for everyone to play a part.
