He was instrumental in helping the organization boost donation funding; by leveraging his business skills and experience in finance, Michael spearheaded campaigns to raise money for the organization’s Southern California chapter. His work raised awareness of the condition and helped the organization provide valuable resources to cancer patients and breast cancer survivors alike. After surgery and chemotherapy, Michael’s wife Lisa regained her health and joined him in the fight to beat the disease. Some of the volunteer work Michael and his wife provided included events to honor fellow breast cancer survivors, and the money he was instrumental in raising went to cutting-edge breast cancer research conducted by the American Cancer Society.
