Mainly from the centre of Rampurhat app was used in higher secondary exams that within half an hour of exams the Bengali question paper had leaked out of the centre. Learning lesson from that incident the join board has barred the usage of smart phones, digital wrist watches and the pen beside it. Buttons and spectacles and ultra modern gadgets.
The board is serious to check and stop copying. To stop completely the hand head signal detector is to be used this decision has been taken by the State join board. That is why it is important to install C.C.TV cameras at all the examination centers. You can get clear footage of every activity. When sometimes you can miss them with your naked eye.
Principally there is no objection to start with this kind of monitor what type of measures will be taken once if anyone is caught copying all this has been discussed in the meeting. Even the supply of the equipment has been discussed to procure from the vendors.
The chairman Mr. Bhaskar Gupta of the technical committee has confirmed. The higher education office has also been consulted, any student caught copying and if the allegation is proved then the admit card and further right to appear for the examination will be cancelled. The electronic gadget will be confiscated and report to the police will also be maintained. The admit card of the candidate will also be scrutinized.
One section people are raising doubts about implementation of this programmed, as because one of the old member from joint board has informed that every center has ten rooms in which examinations are held. Then somewhere about three thousand signal detectors would have to be hired. So we there it is possible or not is doubt full that is why CCTV cameras are very essential in every examination center to restrict any kind of copying from any electronic gadget to check the answer sheets new system is being planned to make error free check modern way is taking progress.
In the council for the Indian school certificate examination board. In a press conference this has been declared by the council’s chairman Jerry Arathoon. He has said that to check the answer scripts error free LC IR system will be adopted. This LC IR is a digital pen and a tab. The examiners are going to use it while checking the answer scripts and changes of giving mistake numbers will reduce. Then the numbers of scrutiny of the papers will also reduce. Still the board can use this instrument on random basis.
We are not asking for any extra fund from higher educational office or from the candidates. This time apart from West Bengal, Tripura and Silchor are also conducting exams in 260 centers. There will be about one lac fifty thousand candidates who will appear for joint examinations. Joint board has decided the date with the help of computer programming. The admission for entrance examination will be done on line .
