It is time for Great comercial Agriculture in Haiti,Goshen Haiti takes the lead

In 214, Goshen Haiti established its first farm in Bon Repos with a papaya plantation of 3000 trees. It was the first attempt to test the ground as the company takes roots and empliment measures to established itself as a leading procucer of local crops for both domestic use and international export.

Goshen Haiti wants to Maximize production and to provide employment to Haitians in agriculture and reforestation particularly those returning from the Domincan Republic seeking employment in their homeland.

Curently, Haiti is making significant progress in tourism. Major hotels have been built and more are being constructed all accross the country. Part of Goshen goals is to make food available for giant hotels like Marriot, Oasis, Best Western, Hilton and Decameron Resorts, among others, to use locally produced food for visitors.

Goshen Haiti is open for business with those who wish to join forces to help it reach it goals of producing the greatest amount of food for the greatest number of people. Reforestation is also in the agenda seeking to equip each farm with giant nurseries that can alliment tree planting in respective communities.

Goshen Haiti started this journey with the young men and women of Haiti who saw great value in this initiave. They spend the entire year of 2014 working making sure that all goes well at the first Goshen Farm base near Port-au-Prince. Some of them adjusted their schedule to go to school in the morning and work in the evening to pay for their school tuition.

It is easier to seat back and hope that Haiti will change as a result of continuous out pouring of foreign aid, but it remains true, that only productive nations will continue to experience better living conditions and secure a better futures for their citizens. Food security will only become Haiti 's reality if and only if the country is equipped and engaged to take responsibility for its own welfare with maximum intent to reverse the course of that long standing history of poverty.

The day is coming when Haiti will take her rightful place as a negociating voice on the global economic tables of our time. That day, Goshen Haiti will be a daring witness.
