Kevin Miller was the Director and Senior Curator at the Southeast Museum of Photography (SMP) from 2001 to 2014. He is currently an associate curator at SMP.

Home is such a wonderful and universal concept that it was always going to elicit a profound engagement from photographers. It is a deeply felt notion, but one which manifests so completely differently in each of our hearts and minds.
