This month is dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating many causes, one of which is Fair Trade. Did you know October is Fair Trade Month? Every Fair Trade purchase protects the environment and improves lives.

In honor of Fair Trade Month, Gifts With a Cause would like to spread awareness of the importance of Fair Trade by hosting weekly giveaways all month! This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate and support Fair Trade. Giveaways will be announced via email and social media.

The artisans who produce Fair Trade products earn fair wages and community development funds. Fair Trade can be found in all sorts of categories, including cosnumer goods, such as gifts! Many people are not aware that Fair Trade extends beyond coffee and chocolate. Fair Trade principles ensure women empowerment, no child labor, enviromental conservation, education, workplace safety, and poverty alleviation.
