With the Fossil Decker Chronograph Smoke Tone Black Dial CH2948 from Fossil, you master the art of staying punctual. It’s inspired from those timeless classics of the diving sports realm and moulded into the latest fashion concepts. The Fossil Smoke Tone Black Dial CH2948 is a sleek, polished timepiece that perfectly complements unique senses of dressing-up and varied wardrobes. Regular rotation will see it return too often.
The Fossil Decker Chronograph’s professional appearance allows for timing around tracks, pools and party tables alike. It is tough enough to bear with the adventures it looks. Darkened stainless steel case and the black dial give a hint from the aviation industry while its design promises long years of survival through sports and outdoor activities. This sport watch is not meant for long use in the dark, for the lume is just decent and not as stupendous as professional dive watches.
But the Fossil Decker Chronograph Smoke Tone Black Dial is a watch with the Speedmaster feel! It is a new addition to the Decker series and makes for a purer Speedy homage. It’s bigger than the actual Omega, though; but it’s a great looking watch with a great chrono function that is kind of funky. The seconds counter will run backward when minute counter is reset. You can also cancel just the timer function without resetting the chrono measures to zero. On a super clean dial, the smoke tone finish looks great. All the hands line up to the mark, aligning very well. Soft chrono buttons work flawlessly.
The smoke tone is actually a PVD coating that looks more like ceramic. The finish is between polished and matted, maybe not-quite-brushed? It goes with the clean lines real good and brings forth a dose of dynamism. Inspiration and imaginations fuse in the Decker!
Ultimate in versatility, this is a watch you can get ready with for work; or for a day of play. It’s a bountiful watch that mashes-up different materials and ideas and puts them into one to bring subtle yet major resemblances in plenty but not detectable individually unless under close observations. There are elements from diver watches in this piece and the coin-edged bezel is one. The rose gold accents along the top pusher and the edge of the bezel are distract momentarily to offer a more complete view.
Overall, the Fossil Chronograph Smoke Tone Black Dial CH2948 men’s watch is beautiful in its appearance and good at its job. It’s a watch with a classical, elegant style, its rich smoke tone to work well with any dark and pastel palette of business casuals. A perfect piece of functional accessory for a man who values classical touches embodied in a modern, refined timepiece.
