Everdry Socks Launches Kickstarter Campaign For All-Terrain Waterproof Sock

EverDry Socks, a British product development company, this week officially launched a Kickstarter campaign for garnering widespread support and financial backing for its all-terrain waterproof sock.

Bournemouth, UK – EverDry Socks, a British product development company, this week officially launched a Kickstarter campaign for garnering widespread support and financial backing for its all-terrain waterproof sock. The campaign aims to raise funds to finance the initial production run of the innovative waterproof footwear.

The company states that EverDry socks are all-terrain multi-functional footwear that combine new technologies to bring waterproof/ breathable materials to the consumer. The technology behind EverDry consists of three layers; a Nylon Elastine outer layer, a highly breathable ‘intelligent’ central layer membrane that doesn't let water pass, keeping feet dry and a merino wool-acrylic inner layer.

“These EverDry socks are comfortable and suitable for All-terrain,” says project creator Michael Gale, “The EverDry socks provide an answer to an age-old problem: WET FEET!”

Kickstarter is a funding platform for creative projects. Everything from films, games, and music to art, design, and technology. ‘Backers’ who support a project on Kickstarter get an inside look at the creative process, and help that project come to life. Typically, Backers get to choose from a variety of unique rewards offered by the project creator. Rewards vary from project to project, but often include a copy of what is being produced (CD, DVD, book, etc.) or an experience unique to the project.

All ‘Backers’ of the EverDry Socks Kickstarter campaign will receive ‘Rewards’ ranging from a pair of EverDry socks for a pledge of £19 or more, to receiving 2 pair of EverDry socks for a pledge of £36 or more.

“The Kickstarter campaign is officially open until September 15, 2016. We work hand-in-hand with an advanced technologies wearables company based in Shanghai, China. They will be the manufacturers for our EverDry socks,” said Michael Gale. “Once funding is completed, production will begin and [we anticipate] our socks will be delivered in time for Christmas.”
