Crescent Senior Living Launches Memory Garden Tribute Honoring Those Affected by Dementia

Crescent Senior Living is inviting families, residents, staff, and the greater community to participate in a new initiative that celebrates the lives of those impacted by dementia through the creation of a Memory Garden—an interactive, living tribute in the heart of its courtyard.

Individuals are invited to plant a flower or greenery in one of the garden's raised beds in honor of someone affected by dementia. A personalized plaque bearing the loved one's name will be placed beside the plant, creating a meaningful and lasting symbol of remembrance. Whether donating a single bloom or filling an entire bed, participants will help transform the space into a garden oasis representing love, memory, and healing.

"It's about creating a space where families, residents, staff, and community members can come together to honor loved ones. The Memory Garden is a living tribute that fosters reflection, healing, and connection."

"Through our exclusive Montessori Moments in Time™ program, we emphasize purposeful engagement, dignity, and honoring each resident's life story. I was honored to purchase blooms in memory of my Aunt Mae and Papa Bennett. This garden allows families to do the same—planting both memories and moments of joy."
