Martin Watts of Ian Watts & Son Funeral Directors wants to thank people of Chepstow, Caldicot, Magor and surrounding areas for the warm welcome he and business partner Jo Hume have received since expanding his services to Monmouthshire.

Since local well known funeral directors Ian Watts & Son opened their Caldicot and Chepstow Funeral Home at 170 Newport Road they have been delighted with the warm welcome they have received.

Jo Hume at Ian Watts & Son (Mon) Ltd. who co-owns the business with Martin Watts, (son of the late Ian Watts), said,' we have been pleased to be able to help people with a wide range of pre-payment funeral plan options and free advice. We have also met many local residents who have visited us to view our monumental stones showroom.'

Jo added, 'we have been honoured to have arranged and conducted funeral services and cremated remains services,' and we are extremely grateful for the wonderful comments we have received and to those that have posted these online about us.'

Just some of the more unusual funerals Martin Watts has arranged have included a themed Steam Roller funeral with vintage lorries also having been chosen for the funeral procession.

'Increasingly popular are civil (humanist) funeral services and we also arrange many of those for families,' Jo Hume said.
