Buddy Candy in Pokemon GO
Choose one Pokemon to be your buddy and earn Candy
We have had a brief instruction of Buddy Pokemon before. This time, the update for Pokemon GO version 0.37.0 for Android and 1.7.0 for iOS has implemented that all trainers will be able to choose one of their Pokemon to be their buddy. A trainer can earn Candy for their Buddy Pokemon by walking a certain distance.
The picture on the right is the Buddy Candy chart from Silph Road, which would be a reference to you.
In addition to the distance you need to walk for a Buddy Candy, you should not forget the distance to get the evolution. For example, Magikarp is at 1km in that chart, but to get that evolution, you have to walk 400km.
Other updates for Pokemon GO
Except for Buddy Pokemon system, there are other hotfixes on Pokemon GO, like:
1. It is now easier to select smaller Pokemon on the screen.
2. It is fixed that eggs would sometimes hatch without displaying the animation.
3. Rooted or jailbroken devices are not supported by Pokémon GO. So download Pokémon GO from the official Google Play Store or iTunes App Store only.
What’s more, Pokemon GO Plus is on the way and will be available on September 16. Stay tuned!
As the above chart says, it is easier to capture a pokemon than evolve it for Candy. To quickly get a evolution, you can buy Pokemon Go StarDust safe from Safewow. The 8% discount code “PKG8” is only available for Pokemon GO trainers. Have fun!
