Los Angeles, CA – Amaxy Inc. has officially launched a Kickstarter campaign for garnering widespread support and financial backing for its revolutionary “Honeycomb” energy efficient & therapeutic hair dryer with far-infrared technology that it claims will actually heal the scalp.

The Honeycomb Therapy Dryer features a patented honeycomb-shaped heating element and twin deep-penetrating infrared light technology, which distributes heat evenly into hair and scalp. This process has therapeutical effects, that according to a company spokesperson, results in preventing hair loss in early stages.

The Honeycomb was born from East Asian and European Far-infrared light healing practices. “We realized a lot of people in their early 30s, or even 20s, having issues related to a great amount of hair loss. Also, they were bothered about their damaged and tangled hair,” said project creator Ms. Chen. “[During] an acupuncture session with far-infrared healing light, inspired us in using it in our hair-dryers. What came in mind was, “Why don’t we use this type of healing light on our scalp?”

The technology behind the honeycomb-shaped heating element, is a silver-coated ceramic component, which conducts and concentrates heat evenly, and focuses heat onto a specific area without compromising energy in the process. The experiment shows this types of technology uses 40% less energy, while producing the higher amount of heat and air flow than the conventional hair dryers.
