Many times faster than current flash memory cards, the MICRODIA XTRA Series SD4.0 flash memory card reads and writes up to a blazing 300MB/s.
MICRODIA Semiconductor Ltd. (MICRODIA) today announced its newest flash memory card addition to its XTRA™ Flash Memory Cards Series, the XTRA ELITE™SD4.0 Flash Memory Card. Many times faster than current flash memory cards, the MICRODIA XTRA Series SD4.0 flash memory card reads and writes up to a blazing 300MB/s.
Professional photographers and videographers can simultaneously capture and load images and footage at phenomenal speeds. The card handles 4K- and 5K-resolution videos and images with equal aplomb.
The standard SD card size allows professional photographers and videographers to use the SD4.0 card in the majority of branded DSLR cameras and video cameras currently available. A built-in read/write protection switch provides peace of mind, helping to ensure that data is not lost.
Up to 832 RAW images (at 22MP) or 120 two-hour MPEG-4 videos at 30fps can be stored on a 64GB SDXC flash memory card; much more can be stored on a 512GB flash memory card.
The SD4.0 flash memory card from MICRODIA has an operating temperature range from 0°C to 85°C; it's storage temperature starts at -40°C and can reach 85ºC. Reviews (Fotomen) by professional photographers and photography students of MICRODIA flash memory cards have stated that the SD form factor operates smoothly at extreme temperatures and in rugged environments.
“We are thrilled to bring the new SD4.0 standard to our premium XTRA Elite Flash Memory Card series, which makes them even more ideal for professionals in the photography and film industries,” said Mr. Louis Leung, CEO of MICRODIA Ltd.
