PODS® Phoenix Lights Up Holiday Season for Ryan House

Local Moving and Storage Company to provide storage logistics for toy donation drive

Every child dreams of receiving the perfect toy for the holidays.  To help put a smile on a child’s face this holiday season, Ryan House will collect toys donated by local residents for its 6th Annual Toy Drive. A PODS container donated by PODS Phoenix, a leader in the moving and storage industry will serve as the official storage company for the drive.

Taking place from Nov. 1 to Dec. 9, Ryan House toy donation drive will bring together local residents to collect toys for its annual holiday party where each Ryan House child and their sibling will receive a toy.

“PODS is honored to be chosen as the official storage company for Ryan House’s toy drive,” said Mike Smith, Vice President of Operations for PODS Phoenix. “To see the community come together and help make the holiday season brighter for those in need is proof to how charitable this city truly is.”

Opening its doors in 2010, Ryan House offers free world-class palliative and respite care as well as programs to children and families as they navigate life-limiting or end-of-life journeys.

The public is encouraged to drop off toys directly into the safe and secure PODScontainer at Ryan House, 110 W. Merrell St. Phoenix, AZ., 85013.

“We are so grateful to have PODS support in helping us to store the toys over the two month period,” said Alyssa McKillip, Ryan House Community Relations.  “Without a PODS container, we would not be able to collect the amount of toys each year because we simply do not have the space to store the toys.”
