Secure Software Framework and Foundation
Development of secure software plays a major role in realizing more cybersecurity, according to the National Cyber Security Strategy. Various parties, such as ECP and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, have created the Framework Secure Software during the past two years. This framework focuses on the production of safe source code during all phases of a software development process. The framework has been announced in May 2014 and is hosted by an independent foundation, the Secure Software Foundation. In addition to managing and further developing the Framework Secure Software, Secure Software Foundation also offers opportunities to software development parties to obtain the Secure Software Certificate.
Audit completed
Onegini Woerden has successfully completed the audit and is the first to party in the Netherlands to apply for and receive the Secure Software Certificate.
