The nomination period for this year’s Women in Sales Awards is coming to a close, don’t miss your chance to reward your highest performing female sales team members and celebrate their success.
The sales function of every business is the lifeblood of the day to day operations, without a fluid and effective sales team work would dry up and disappear. However, it is still very heavily male-dominated. The annual Women in Sales Awards (WISA) are the perfect way to recognise those female workers in your sales force who are operating above and beyond what is expected from them.
Simply being nominated in this prestigious ceremony hosted at The Lancaster, London has merit and ROI on its own. Receiving recognition as being a stand out female worker in the male dominated landscape of the Sales Industry is a fantastic motivator to not only the nominated person but also everyone else in the team who will see the commitment the business is making to highlighting and celebrating successes.
Not only does the ceremony celebrate the success of individuals it also stands as a unique opportunity to network with peers and competition from all over Europe, growing the sales industry as a whole while also helping your business develop its network of contacts.
There are a variety of categories open for nominations including Best Woman Sales Director, Best Woman Sales Manager, Best Woman Financial Sales, Field Sales, and Consumer Sales among the 16 categories. Every aspect of the sales industry is covered bringing out the best of the best of women in the sales aspect no matter what their role is.
The winners and finalists will become role models for other women in their firm and ambassadors for their business. Having the recognition for their achievements will solidify their position as a leader in the sales teams and the standout performer for others to look up to.
Candice Eves, of Sodexo and winner of the 2015 WIS award for Best Woman in Field Sales said, “Unlike many industry awards, the Women in Sales Awards are designed to recognise genuine talent. I have no doubt the awards will go from strength to strength in years to come and shine a light on so many talented women working in sales.”
The nomination period for this year’s awards ends 22nd September, there’s still plenty of time to nominate your most deserving team member. The final awards ceremony takes place on the 8th December at the Lancaster, London.
